Struggling Sai to Succeeding Sai

Remember those innocent childhood days when we were 8 years old and our main goals were to go to school, come back, get our homework done and go outside to play until our mom brought us back in for dinner? Beautiful nostalgia isn’t it.

That’s not the case with Sai, an 8-year-old hailing from Miryalguda. His childhood came to a hard halt when he was 5 – 6 years old. He was out playing happily and out of nowhere, a burning match stick came and fell on his shoulder, leaving Sai burning.

The burns quickly caught up and Sai’s upper body was left with burns. Already suffering from genetically inherited, breathing issues, this was an unfortunate add-on to the little boy.

His condition is medically known as axillary contracture. Several doctors rejected Sai’s case due to the complications involved with it. Because of his condition, even giving anesthesia was complicated.
